Talks on the Faith – The introductory meeting for those who are interested in becoming Catholics will take place in the Convent, 2 Beaconsfield Road on Monday 7th September at 7.30pm.

 

Queen of Peace Day of Prayer – Saturday 12th September at Pantasaph Friary.  The day will begin at 10.30am with prayer of the rosary and ends with Mass at 4pm.  The prayer programme is rosary, confessions, adoration and Mass.  Everyone is welcome.  Tea & coffee will be available but please bring a packed lunch.

 

Relics of St Therese – the Casket will be in the Cathedral of Christ the King, Liverpool, from 3pm on 24th September to 3pm on 25th.  Places are still available on a minibus or coach on 24th, leaving Connah’s Quay 4.30 or 5pm, or on a coach on 25th, leaving Connah’s Quay at 9.10, Queensferry, 9.30am.  Please give names to the sisters with £2 booking fee per person. (phone 830692).  Full cost depends on numbers attending. 

 

Weekend of Prayer – 4-6 Sept.  Contemplative Prayer for Women with Sr Aelred OSB at Pantasaph.  See poster in the porch for further details.

 

Children’s’ Liturgy – Our Children’s’ Liturgy Group at the Sunday Mass is going from strength to strength, BUT we urgently need more adults to help out in order to comply with strict Child Protection rules.  Two adults need to be in attendance at each session so we really need more volunteers to help out.  Please speak with Angela Doyle or Canon Eccleshare if you can help.

There will be a retiring collection at all Masses next weekend for Poor Mission & Church Extension Fund
